Are There Any Side Effects From Drinking Unique Water?

Unique Water is a food. As with all foods consumed for the first time, one should commence consumption in small amounts until the body becomes accustomed. See How best to consume Unique Water?

It is known that all foods may cause a mild reaction in some people. For example, it is known that citrus fruits, tomatoes and bananas cause migraine headaches in some people.

Because Unique Water is produced to the highest standard of quality, there are no short-term or long-term toxic effects associated with the consumption of Unique Water. Unique Water is safe to consume and complies with government standards of health and safety. Unique Water may be consumed as a premium quality mineralised water per se. It may be consumed in normal amounts at any time that one would normally consume mineral water or other waters. However, because the properties are especially non-acidic, it cannot be used for:

  • mixing with colourings or flavourings
  • mixing with alcohol

Can The Bottles Be Recycled?

Yes. Unique Water is bottled in a Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) bottle, which is a recyclable plastic.  Unique Water bottles are BPA Free.

How Is Unique Water Different From Other Waters?

Unique Water is a mineralised water drink (a food as defined by Food Standards Australia New Zealand). It is protected by patents. Unique Water contains magnesium bicarbonate at an alkaline (non-acidic) pH value. It is known that bicarbonate ions in water, at alkaline pH values, neutralise acid and carbon dioxide concentrations.

It is also known that the consumption of appropriate bicarbonates is correlated to the neutralisation of acid in the human body. Amongst other effects, this neutralisation of acid decreases natural bone resorption, increases the rate of bone formation and possibly slows the decline in muscle and tissue wasting that occurs with ageing.

Why Increase Human Lifespan?

Our own life is all we ultimately possess. Indeed, the loss of our life is the greatest loss we can suffer. The maintenance of a healthy, energetic body and the maintenance of a youthful disposition, demeanour and appearance are common personal and social goals.

With modern scientific and medical advances, we are now capable of living for a long time. We must consider that we can no longer live fast, self-centred and destructive lives but that we are now here on Earth to stay. Thus, we will live the consequences of everything that we create or destroy. We are no longer building the future for coming generations only. We will share this future with them. Quite possibly, this is the first time in human history that we an take time to reflect on how we want this future to be.

Why increase human lifespan? When human lifespan is increased, people must choose to live their lives differently. The mad rush associated with excessive competition and consumerism, with the despoliation of the planet that results, must give way to a genuine concern for the planet and all life on it. Otherwise living would not make sense. It is no good living for a long period of time on a planet that is being destroyed.

An increased human lifespan is one way of necessitating a change in human behaviour, a way to utilise knowledge and experience to look after the world and all that is in it. The fear of our ceasing to exist is a basic human emotion. The passing of time fills us with insecurity. The constant challenge of living our life before it is over is used to rationalise our impatience and to justify our successes and failures. An increased human lifespan gives us more time for self-reflection and hence a lack of time is no longer an excuse for ignorance.
